The Happy Times :)

What a Day! As I was very worried this morning about going back to school, it was a pretty good day. I woke up this morning in none stop praying to God to help me through this day and not surprisely  he did! God was good! God was there and comforted me all day long! From the dead me i was this morning not wanting to go back; God helped me through the day.

We all have techniques that help us calm, mine is well one praying, Going and doing the retreat at: Loyal Press  and reading blog posts. The Lord as blessed all of us and will watch over all of his children. The Lord Answers all our prayers and he always as time for YOU!

Happy are those who know they are spiritually poor;the kingdom of Heaven belongs to them!

 Happy are those who mourn; God will comfort them!

Happy are those who are humble;they will receive what God has promised! 

Happy are those who greatest desire is to do what God requires; God will satisfy them fully! 

Happy are those who are merciful to others;God will be merciful to them! 

                                          Happy are the pure in heart ; they will see God!

Happy are those who are persecuted because they do what God requires; The Kingdom of Heaven belongs to them!

Sad times :(

Well today I go back to school. And as much as I just don't wanna go I thank God for the chance to have education. Will others in the world are begging to go; and don't have the opportunity.And unlike me not wanting to go back; and have the opportunity. But now I don't look at the "small picture" of each Grade and this and that about it.... I just think of the "Big Picture" for becoming a priest. But i also have to live in the moment and learn to make a strong base for the "Big Picture"... Well i'm off to what I am trying to Thank God for! Please Pray for me as I go back! Also have an GREAT WEEK!

 

Cooking!

Today I cooked for my family. I simply did it because I love them and am thankful for them. My family does so much for me. So, the least I could do is make them a good dinner. I used a gift God gave me. God gives us gifts and well, we have to use them. We can't just put them aside; we MUST use them. We can must use them to help others and to praise God :)


Today, for supper I made some chicken. (It's the thighs and drumsticks attached.) I rubbed it with a dry spice paste - my secret - ( spices with oil).  I also made some mashed potatoes and some vegetables.  They all enjoyed it!


I really don't know what I would do without family! They are always there and care for me. I Love My Family!!! Thank you God for such a great family!!!

As much as they help me; I try to help them. Yes, it might be hard but I still try. We are all on the journey that God has for us and we all praise him for what he does for us. Ultimately, God is the one who is always there; who gave us our families.

May God bless us and our families! May he protect us and help us in our daily lives! Let's thank him for giving us the help and comfort our family gives us!

Candles

 The sweet scent of the candle burning, giving that lavender smell to fill the air; to give relaxation. The Candle is a simple, but beautiful item! It burns the wax; not to fast, but not to slow! We often use the candle at Easter to show that the light of Christ as come into the World!   The Great symbol of the Candle is just Beautiful!

Where do we find candles in our lives:

• By the Altar at Church
• By the Tabernacle 
• The Advent wreath
• Easter
• On your kitchen Table
• On a religious table 
• At a Vigil 
• At adoration 

We use candles for many reasons; if it's for respect for the Lord or if it's to relax, or even to get a bad smell out of the air.

•  At the most obvious point we use the candle to Guide us on our journey waiting for Jesus to come into our hearts on Christmas.The time is to make our path straight and we use the story of the candles to make it straight.

•  At the Tabernacle to show that Christ is present; the candle is usually is a red glass jar. But when we see the candle lit is when we Respect that area even more; we go and pray, because we know that God is THERE!

• At a Vigil or on your religious table; that our prayer might be brought to God - or we light that candle in remembrance of a person. Sometimes if you go to a blue mass they have candles to give out for the person that passed away in that year, to remember them.

• On your kitchen table either for a anniversary dinner or to lighten the air with a sweetness: or just for decoration. The Sweet smell rises and calms all who pass. 

• At baptism; after the child is baptized the child receives the light of Christ for  the first time! That light is to be kept burning brightly in the child's heart, that they might grow and live in the love of God!

Jackets!

Lets think what we use Jackets for:

• Protection
• Warmth
• To show design
• For the Pockets
• To float

Well it's winter. And winter calls for: Hat, gloves, Jacket, scarf, and boots. Why? well the simple reason: because it's Cold! This year in  Manisnowba there hasn't been snow up to our knees! By January first we would have at least 30 cm on the ground: well not this year! there is at least only an inch or two ( that might be to much of what there actually is) It's surprising because more deer came out this year than last year- which had more snow) It's melting more everyday.  Global warming!

But not only do we where our visible Jacket we wear the Jacket Of God! The Jacket of Gods, love, and securance. This jacket is the one God as given us; for our journey on earth. We wear this jacket day by day as we live in God. This jacket is what keeps us warm, and comforted when we feel down! God is ALWAYS there. The Comfort by God is GREATER than anything on earth today.

These Jackets are tight; Hard to get off; Always on;  And able to be put back on if it was taken off. God is always offering the jacket back for anyone who as taken it off. But God makes it even Harder every time to take it off..  In the pockets of this Jacket God puts in : Joy, Love peace, Kindness,Patience, Self-Control, Faithfulness, Gentleness,and Generosity.These are the wonderful gifts of the spirit- the Spirit guides us to live better and to keep that Jacket on. May we use this to make our live better everyday!
