Summer..........

  Yes my most favorite non-liturgical time of the year. The Grass is green, to feed animals, the trees are blooming  ready for apples, the leaves are blowing, the wind gets stronger, the sun comes out and makes it +30, Fishing season comes, Dogs are running around again And my favorite part.... Gardens getting planted, seeds popping up, vegetables are growing and enjoy the nice summer rain (unlike me).

  lets Go into the bible, old testament and find  the first magical seven days.....

• Genesis 1:3 says "Then God commanded let there be light"- The bright and beautiful sun, that we all soak in. The warmth of the sun also makes us feel comforted. The light it shines that  make are plants grow.....

• Genesis 1:9 says "Then God Commanded, Let the water below the sky."   The water which 65% of are bodies are made of. The water on the earth lets fish control the sea, which (the sea) water our gardens, which waters are grass and trees and bring us life.

• Genesis 1:11 says "Then he commanded  Let the earth produce all kinds of plants, those that bear grain, and those that bear fruit ---  and it was done"  The best part... The garden. Now why is the garden the best part? Because it is a miracle being able to grow fruits and vegetable and see them from when they are 1 cm and pulling them out by accident  thinking they are a weeds. But from the mud of the earth food comes. From the dust of the ground we were made. 

•  Genesis 1:20 says Then God commanded "let the waters be filled with many kinds of living things, and let the air be filled with birds"  Yes one of my favorite things to do during summer (besides planting a garden) is to go and catch fish.... Only the good kind. :) it really depends what god leads to your line. Blessed be the fish 

• Life of us and saints  says have a great summer, once and a while thank God for making all the things he did, have life and live in God Love and be his light for has long has you live. :)

Comfort Given by Family...

The World today will judge you on almost about everything. The type of nature we have come around from and going to. The world is  brutal, mean,and not very comforting. So at times we need things and God to help comfort us.

When we are feeling down in a day, we need someone to comfort us,because comfort is something we all need to help us feel good again. Everyone thinks no one is around to be with them when there down.... But there is one great person, grater than anything on earth....God.... God is the source of all life human and divine, he is the source of comfort and love.

I was reading this email I got today, It was about a lady (an elder) needing comfort. So what she did was got a chair by her bed and imaged god was sitting there on that chair and she would just talk to him like one of us. Which we should, that's why he's their. I thought this was great at the end when this lady died and her head was on the chair ( Jesus, lap) and no i'm not happy she died)

Some people think they got no family to talk to, or to have fun with, or do anything with. but their is God.


GOD IS FAMILY.

God is there/ will be there when you need him.

Here on earth we always find ways to help comfort us. These things include stuff like, material created by family, a special item, a stuffed animal whatever it could be that makes us feel comforted. Like me for my last birthday I am/ was lucky enough to have an aunt make me a blanket, almost like a quilt. This item makes me feel nice and comforted, most things home made make people feel comforted because you know that it was made with love and by someone you know.

In days that we need help we need strength we just need to ask God. We need to ask for strength , love Comfort, Joy,and peace. what ever we ask the lord will give, and the plan he has for us will come to us with comfort and love by our god,of family and truth. May God the father in heaven bless us all and keep us comforted in mind body and soul. Amen

Our God

Why bother

Why spend money on what does not satisfy. why spend your wages and still be hungry? listen to me and what I say and you will enjoy the best food of all. - Isaiah 55: 2 


" Do not store up riches for your selves here on earth, where moths and rust destroy and robbers steal. Instead , store up riches for your selves in heaven, where moths and rust will not destroy, an robbers cannot steal." - Matthew 6:19-21 

    When I first read this passage from Isaiah, I was amazed in what it said, because it all makes sense. Why spend the money you have on things you don't need? This passage is saying one great thing that we all ignore in this life. Why spend money on things like cell phones, antiques, movies and many other things. Yes they are all nice to have, but think again  Do you really need them? The lord doesn't want all these things to come in the way of him. For example, say you are you and God is God. Now place objects in between you and God; school, friends, movies, cell phones, and riches and God is the last thing on your list...... God wants to be first but with all the distractions he can't be... Sadly...


      Isaiah is also saying stop wasting your money on these things, cause you'll be still be hungry. Now, this you can think of in two ways.  Literally be hungry or being hungry for the life giving bread and water. So it can say don't waste your money on things you don't need and use it to feed your self, so you won't be hungry, or it can say to don't bother with the things on this earth and ask for that living water and bread, and make God first.

Matthew says don't store up riches. It is sort of the same passage from Isaiah. Don't store up riches here on earth because robbers will come and rust and moths will destroy them. So don't bother with them if it's going to get stolen. When you think of storing riches in heaven, it's not the riches we have here on earth. The riches in heaven is peace, faith, love, hope, joy, happiness, and many others, God wants these for us so that we may be happy and live for him in the heavenly kingdom

      As I said these two passages are the same, they both talk about riches and not getting them if you don't need them. This is very simple if you don't need it and you want play/wear it/ or do whatever then don't get it. The world today gets so distracted by all this new technology and we think it's so cool, but think of how it is for the enviroment and all the radiation this new stuff gives off.

Satisfy or not Satisfy, Money or Food, Life or Death, Heaven or Hell, Water or Fire. Your choice. God lays down 2 choices life or death. Then we can answer all the rest!

I Am Who I Am

            Moses replied, " When i go to the Israelite's and say to them, 'The God of your ancestors sent me to you.' they will ask  'What is his name?' So what can I tell them? God said " I Am Who I am"- Exodus 3: 13-14.


This passage has to be my Favorite one. This speaks loud to me. But anyways, I Am Who I Am.  God says this not for us not to tell us is name but to understand that he will to be the greatest God. I Am Who I An in Hebrew means "Yahweh" (How to say it : yeah-way) which From Hebrew  translates to " TO BE" In that time he was To be / was already the king of kings the lord of lords. But the message, the trust, the love he had for Moses to lead the people out of Egypt was so great God was there no matter what.

Yahweh ( God) knew all that was going to happen before the world existed. God knew you personally before he thought about making the earth. God knew that all was to happen so that his kingdom may come. The World today is so wicked in what we do, so wicked in what God doesn't want us to do. Jesus's second coming is going to happen sooner the we think! Yahweh  knows all of us and cares for us each the same with A LOT of LOVE I MEAN  A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love God he loves you, Thank God for He loves you.

 The Poor Moses in the grass watching sheep away from his town because of murder, gets chosen to lead millions of people out of Egypt. But aren't we all ( not murders) but are we all leading each other into the promise land (heaven) we are all on this journey, we all help each other.

The Holy Spirit! Coming Soon!

Pentecost is this Sunday, the day that the disciples get to speak in tongues, and preach the story about Jesus and his life.

So lets deep into this more.

    "Suddenly there was a noise from the sky which sounded like a strong wind blowing,and  filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then they saw what looked like tongues of fire which spread out and touched each person there . They were all filled with the holy spirit and began to talk in other languages, as the spirit enabled them to speak." - Acts 2: 2-4. 


Well to start off, Pentecost means "fifty". So fifty days of Easter have gone and fifty days of the Holy Spirit will come.Pentecost is the day that the holy spirit  came to the disciples and whoever else was with them.The Holy Spirit can make us do marvelous things. He can save lives! A speaker at a retreat i went to told us this story about the Holy spirit: So her dad was going out of the city, ( he was a good and safe driver) but she kept saying she doesn't want to go with him. But, anyways he went driving and a car from the other ongoing lane crashed into the car her dad was driving. Now he was in the hospital for many days and the doctor said the there would be a 5% chance of him living. So when the daughter found out, her and her family prayed to the holy spirit that her dad might live. Then the next day they went to visit him in the hospital and the doctors said that he was going live and everything was okay.

So that's one way i know that the spirit works.The spirit can work in many ways, if you need to be cheered up ask the spirit to help you and surly enough he will help you.   The fire touched each of them. The fire touched each of them. The spirit was with them, the spirit was in them, the spirit loved them. And if we ask  the spirit will come to us and bless us and able to speak in tongues.

Then their was a loud noise like blowing wind. they must have been scared at first, truly because there was a large blow of wind outside and then in the room, until they got the spirit. The spirit lived in them for the rest of their lives, through prison, through persecution, through hatred, through hardships, and so the spirit is with us when we have to deal with hard things in our life. (like exams ;)....)  The disciples were amazed with what they were able to do once they had the spirit in them. And we to are amazed when we see first hand  what the spirit can do.

May the spirit come upon us this Pentecost and may he bless us for ever!

He Bowed is head....

Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit - John 19: 30

This the last part of verse 30 in John 19. This is the part were Jesus dies. Now by this passage a few questions come in mind:

1) Why did he die?

2) How do we"die" (not for real)

Three questions that we might know the answer to. So Question one says 

Why did he die? 

      God loved the world so much he gave his only Son. He gave his only son into the world of evil, a world of hate, a world of shame. God knew that this was not the world he created, not he world he wanted. So he sends his only Son to us to help us, to make sure we live in his love,compassion and mercy.God sent his son to us, so that  all the darkness,shame,disgrace in us might be gone by his death. He died for our sins. If we didn't have sin Jesus would not have come to earth. ( could you imagine what that would be like? I couldn't) Jesus died for our sins, so that the darkness created by Adams' sin might be destroyed. He came to teach us to live our life and not to live in darkness and death. The love for God was built by Jesus. Many people leave God, or forget about God, but thats nothing to worry about God will get to them by asking them to do something, God Doesn't take no for an answer. But he died for our sins and that we might live and have eternal life.

How do we die?

 Us Humans die in so many ways like Christ. Now, i'm not talking about dieing and going to heaven, i'm talking about those times that we struggle in, that we let our selves down and forget that Jesus is there with us. Every time  we get angry at someone we die, our spirits die, because there is no love or spirit for that person. When we think we let someone down, and we start to feel bad and cry, we die. We "die" because we have no faith, we have no love, we have not mercy. We forget that god is with us all ways, even more so the times that we struggle with the most.

Exams

This month is the time that people are finishing the school year and making plans for summer vacation. But kids that are in junior high and higher have to write exams before this school year is out.

Exams are very nerve racking to many people like me. Most people have semester exams or exams during the middle of the year. Well if you are the lucky few like me, You get 4 exams all year at the last week of school... No exams in the middle of the year or nothing all saved to the very end of the school year.

So I've been very busy  these past few weeks study for exams. Many people like me get easily freaked out about exams... Especially me, because all the info is saved to the very last day. I don't know what I would do if i weren't praying to God and one excellent saint.

I all ways ask Jesus to be with me and when I'm studding i pray to St. Joseph of Cupertino. If you Want a saint to pray to during this time, pray to him.

He his known for is helping for exams and studying for them. 

He was known to be very stupid. ( now you're thinking, then how is he known for exams) 

The point is if, your writing exams pray to him... Once you write the exam Thank him.

St Michael

 The Greatest saint there is. St Michael The Archangel. He is the head of the army in heaven. The greatness this one saint has with two others are so powerful, we on earth can not uderstand it all. 

   Saint Michael is one great Saint. St.Michael is known as the head of the army angels in the kingdom of God. Michael was never on the earth, in fact St.Michael, Gabriel and Saint Raphael  never lived on the earth,they were made to serve God in the heavenly kindom. God made them Saints to serve him,Jesus and Mary. 

Saint michael is a well know Saint. The word/name "MICHAEL"  means "who is like God" The Holy Bible says St Michael and his angels fought against the seven headed dragon(satan) and his angels as war broke out in heaven over the blessed Virgin Mary's child. Satan was defeated and was thrown out of heaven and thrown to the earth.( Rev12.1-10)

St Michael is also said about in Jude vs 9 in the new testament. he is known to have fought the devil against moses body. In Saint Michaels battle he is not know to have said anything rude or bad just the things go told him. At the end of the battle he said to the devil " God Rebuke you" and that was the end. 

St.Michael is known to be the angel in Joshua 5.13-15."Joshua  standing byJericho saw an man standing in front of him holding a sword" St.Michael is the patron saint of  policemen.

St.Michael is a very neat saint. As you may or may not know, there are 9 choirs of angels:Searaphin,Cherubim,Thrones,Dominions,Virtues,Powers,Principalities,Archangels, Angels.

 St.Michael belongs to Searaphin choir.St Michael is also know as the heavenly prince and/or Princely Seraph.

Prayer to St Michael:

Saint Michael the Archangel defend us in battle Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil: May God rebuke him, we humbly pray: and do you, o prince of the heavenly host, By the power of God,thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Mary...

     The month of May is for the Blessed Mother Mary.  The month of may is the time to celebrate Mary for who she really is. The love Mary had for God while on earth was unbelievable. She indeed is the only one without sin. Marys' life style is so unique, think back to the first miracle Jesus did in Cana. Mary said to Jesus " they are out of wine" Jesus replies with "Why do you come to me?My hour has not yet come" Mary therefore, said to the servants " Do whatever he tells you to do" What Knowledge she has of her own beloved son, and knows the best of him.

    All mothers know their child the best. Mothers conceived there child in there own womb and gave birth to them, fed them, and take care of their children while they are growing up. Thats the same thing with our mother Mary she knows Jesus the best. So if you want to know Jesus more, Ask Mom. Ask Mary.

    Mary in Johns Gospel is referred to Woman  never once in Johns Gospel will you find the word Mary. Know you must think that her name is in the birth of Jesus and that story, but John doesn't have the story of Jesus's birth. Mary the woman was with the only disciple at the cross, all left, but Mary and John. "Women this is your son" Jesus says to Mary while on the cross because Jesus knew all was finished Mary needed a new son. Jesus is always Marys son, but on earth once Jesus died, Mary's son was John. In Speaking about John still and his Book in the bible. John has Two major Books First one his is Gospel of the lord, and the second is the Revelations. In the Revelations Mary is still named Women.


    Well on May 31 was the celebration of crowning Mary. Marys' flower is the rose. On this day some people will celebrate it at mass with the statue of Mary and bring flowers for Mary. She is indeed one of the strongest people in the bible. She had the courage to say YES to God, going in blind, not knowing what was going to happen to her, but she still said Yes. She had the love of this child and loved him to the very end. She Watched his son die and be  nailed to the cross. She Loved Jesus more everyday. She went through with her life with no sin and with Gods help. With God anything is Possible.

May we live by Marys example, by saying Yes to God.
