3 Minute Proverb Saturday

 A sensible person gathers the crops when they are ready; it is a disgrace to sleep through the time of harvest!

The time of harvest, was the time many farmers had to love. Whats not to love, they get FOOD. They need their food for eating and for sacrificing. Many people brought there food to the temple to be sacrificed and blessed.

But in this case I think it would more be talking about the time when the lord is coming. The sensible, the holy people stay awake, and are ready for the time when Jesus comes. If they sleep through that time then it is a disgrace to heaven and to earth. For we  must be awake be ready and listen to God and Wait for the holy one to come in glory, for none of us now when the Lord is coming.

May the Lord help us top be ready and stay a wake in mind and spirit! Amen

Thanks giving

Well Happy Thanks Giving to everyone celebrating that this week/ day. Let us be thankful for things we have that other have not. Like a house, water, food, family, work, education, bed, clothes, electronics/ technology. Lets us always give thanks for everything we have like our friends and family, for they are the most important on earth.... let us also remember to give thanks to God for him and being with us and helping us on our journey of faith.

Prayer For The Day

God, the father we are filled with your praise and love. Are hearts are hearts of Faith. We ask you to take away stone left in our hearts and deepen our faith because with you and believe in you we can do anything to help others or to help our selves. Help me by our faith to proclaim the great things you have done for me, and expand my faith with others. We know that it is not some type of magic potion the helps us. Father we believe that all good and right things come from you, we are here to worship and say that you are our God. Father help me this day to proclaim what you have done for your son Jesus and what you have done for ME.....

HomeMade Part Two.

The view i had from when i woke up this morning.

I've already talked about how homemade is better and that we find for love from the things that are home made. Well today i got the polar fleece that my aunt made me.... it's very nice and i thank her very much for making me a polar fleece just as winter comes here in winterpeg.

Of course living in Winterpeg we already have snow in the middle of November.... -very sadly- but i guess that's part of being of Canada. But with the Greatness of our summer we get the coldness of our Winters... Not yet below -20 which i pray to God for..... which I WON"T like when it comes..... the only part i while like however is the nice calm scenery and making snowmen :)

 But anyways back to the polar fleece if you guessed that it was the blue with white maple leaves you are well correct! 

Yup thats me wearing my brand new polar fleece made by a great aunt. :)

Well this is it the Great homemade polar fleece that well will last me a while. I am sew thankful my aunt made this for me just in time for the winter snowfall happening....

This is a close up of what it looks like. Two nice identical buttons, with in the front(which isn't shown in this picture)  a kangaroo style pocket.

God is near

You now those times when you walk into a room or somewhere holy and you can FEEL that God is with you? yeah, i love those moments, those are the moments that i feel secure and safe, and know that everything will be okay.

  Today i though i had the best job (as a student) to be asked to go into the school chapel and find some songs in the hymnals. Well i didn't really find the hymnals.But i did look and couldn't find any. And i heard God call me, so I knelt down and I began to pray. - which my teach said was okay- I was alone in the chapel and i felt that God was there. He was with me at all corners at all times. i felt safe and loved, created and calm at that time.

I liked that time when I could just thank God for helping me through my Test week and for helping me through other rough weeks for me... I got some time to talk to God one-on-one. He has done so much for me and the least i could do is pray and thank him for everything he has done. I really don't know what i would do if i never found God. i would be in misery and relying on the 11:11 trick everyday....


God does so much for me and i'm still young so i am pretty sure he has done much with you to fulfill is plan and his teachings.

MAY GOD BLESS US AND KEEP US UNDER HIS WING TO PROTECT US AND SO THAT WE MAY GRACEFULLY SERVE HIM!

Priests Garments

Well one thing i'm looking forward to when i one day become a priest is that every mass  I get a "color day" Green -my favorite color-, Purple, red, white, more purple, and more green. ( i like the even more green part)I remember from when i was young and i use to be all excited about what color the priest would wear that mass But, as fascinating has the colors are they show meaning and add some sincere to a mass.So now has we enter into a different colour besides green we should start OUR Advent life and welcoming God i nour hearts a place where he can stay and be born into eternal life.

It as really changed of what priest wear at a mass. From the time of Aaron and Moses getting the instructions of what to wear.

Well today we know what a priest wears.... A Robe, A stole. then a chasuble. Very simple and very unique.

But, has "normal" God is he likes to make things really complicated.

 These passages are from Exodus 28: 1-14

Tell them to make a breastpices, an ephod, a robe, and a embroidered shirt, a turban, and a sash. The workers are to use blue, purple, and red wool, gold thread and fine linen. They are to make the ephod of blue, purple and gold thread, and fine linen and decorated with embroidery. Two shoulder straps in which it can be fastened, are to be attached to the sides. A finely woven belt made of the same materials is to be attached to the ephod so as to form on piece with it. Take two carnelian stones and engrave on them the names of the twelve sons of Jacob, and the mount the the stones in gold settings. Put them on the shoulder straps of the ephod to represent  the twelve tribes of Israel. In this way Aaron will carry their names on his shoulders, so that I the LORD , will always remember my people.

All hand sewn... lots to be sewn by the special workers God gave them. This is much different from what we have today! The only similarity is the Robe.... Different color though...... it was blue and now are 

white. Notice the center breast piece with the finest stones attached to the ephod. Also notice the blue Robe with Gold embroidering. Then also look at the fine turban. With the Gold plate on the bottom of hit saying" DEDICATED TO THE LORD " Also notice the fine and nice shoulder strap to hold it front to back.

Don't you love homemade gifts for presents, or just a thank you?

well I sure do. ANYTHING but everything homemade is 100% better than store bought. It just shows how much family cares for you, and show that they put time for you... And then you truly know that God is with you and your family.Well as much as i like keeping  secrets and having ,my family hide presents so i can wait for Christmas or when ever to receive it I know about one in particular. I have a aunt that loves to sew, and well loves everything about it.... it amazing that not many people now and days sew.... -Home made is better- Well she took me to the store yesterday to pick out fabric to deiced which one i want for a HOMEMADE polar fleece. My favorite color is green and well I didn't pick green O.O  Well i will show a few of the fabrics and one of them is the one i chose. HINT: think hockey.. God works in many mysterious ways.... If it's a stranger giving a smile, or someone giving good news, or your prayer was answered. God doesn't like to work in "normal" ways. He's cool like that. God can be any image you want and can be well normal or be "normal". God isn't a human on earth so he affects each and every person differently.Well earth would just be perfect for God, because well everything was hand-made by him, so we should not cut down trees and ruin GODS HOME.

It's funny how people like my self fall into this stuff and make a wish.... 1 is a rare a sacred # somewhere so it has come to be that 11.11.11.11:11:11 happens to be the worlds best day to make a wish.

On this Day let us remember not only those who died on our side to keep our countries free and at peace, but those on the other side, that lost many people as well.... God bless, may God heal all those who are hurt by the effects of war.

The Elijah Project Series

The Elijah Project is a series of books I have been reading By Bill Myers. And no I am not talking about  Elijah in the Bible. But these books are religious.....

The books are about a family that is totally normal except for one kid.... named Elijah...... He has powers from God. Like in the first book he healed a dead dog that got ran over. But there has been this big evil corporation  that is out to get him and use his powers for evil. The first book he was found by the bad guys because the news caught him healing the dog.  So they are on the run, the parents and kids get split up. the parents get caught into the bad guys corporation, and the meet the boss. Shadow Man. They are then tied to a wall and they can't move, and they start to pray and worship God, to help them. Then the oldest brother silences and evil dude by saying " by the power of Jesus Christ I silence you" Just how Jesus silences the demons . The only reason he had to say that is to stop this group from worshipping the demons.

The youngest (Elijah) said something about Romans 8: 26 but he couldn't remember what the passage was, when they were trying to escape from the evil doers. Here it is Romans 8: 26 :

In the same way the spirit also comes to help us, weak as we are. For er do not know how we ought to pray;the spirit himself pleads with God for us in groans that words can not express

I just finished the second of four books and am waiting to get the next one from the library. It is quit interesting books, they are full of action, religion, and mystery of what's going to happen next. The kids always find them self in a hard situation, but in some way they happen to escape it.

Sun Rises

Don't you just love waking up to a great pink sky, with the sun glaring in your eyes, and you know that this will be a good day? The warmth of the sun, the gift of God, coming every morning, lighting up the sky like a painting, even better than a painting. 

The Great gift of the Sun Rising, is so beautiful but only lasts a while... The Clouds are pink from bottom to top, Top to bottom from the colours of the sun.

One big loss in our church's today, is the loss of children. Children, don't go because their parents don't and then they will never think it's a good idea to ever go to church, and the population  of children go down. But if there's the sunrise everyday, we know that there is hope, for a better tomorrow, where there will be more kids interested in church and want to help in the services.

Sunrises give hope for that day: it's Gods small miracle to start the day. The Hope that today will be better, that today more kids will want to join in church, the our troubles and worries will be solved and taken away by the lord, that God  grants us all peace.
