This Sunday's Gospel was the parable of the Sower. My favorite of them all. So of course I listened extra close to the Gospel.
At most times we are in one of two categories seeds that fell on the rocks with little soil and sprouted or those that fell in good soil and produced one hundred, sixty or thirty.
At times we can be like those on the rocks because we will receive the holy message at first, but then we will run away from our faith and forget all about it and start doing wrong.
We are those seeds that fell in good soil because some of us listen and keep God's word and not let go no matter what. But, that's very hard, today's society doesn't support stuff like this, it supports other thing's and detaches us from God. We can't focus on what god wants us to do, when we are to focused on what society has for us and go away from Gods almighty plan.
Just think, God is the sower, The seed is his message. Look how clumsy/messy he his when he sows the seeds throws it everywhere. So that we can be tested to see if we follow his word or the evil of society.
I think at least once in your life you've evenly folded a piece of paper in half and on one side you written the good of your life and the other you have written the bad. We always think about the wrong in our life and think we can't do this or that...... but we have to Forget... about our wrong and think about the good in our life because the only side God looks at is the side of good. God didn't even look at our bad side, he has already forgiven us for our sins and hatred.
Now lets think here do you think Jesus would really describe a parable???? No Jesus leaves his parables open at the end for us and them (in the past) to relate to and think about..... So it's very unlikely that Jesus actually explained the parable....
I can't quiet explain why exactly I love this reading so much but I just do. The love show by God lives in us each day and it's if we accept it is what matters.
