The Tough Thing: Listening

As humans we just want to talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, and talk. Just you. We don't give time for the other person a chance to speak.... Which I mean is quiet natural. It's just who we are.  Many of us like to talk. And when we don't give the other person a chance to talk, and let them say whats new. or whats wrong, they hang on to it, they keep it inside, and then it starts to eat them alive. So sometimes it's better to listen. Not to say a word, But listen because sometimes, that's all a person could need is someone who will listen.

Listening is one hard thing to do because we just want to talk. Especially during prayer. We talk and talk and say the things we need from God, but we don't give God a chance to speak into our hearts and answer our prayer
                                                                         .
God speaks a lot to you.... Do you hear him?

God is speaking to you, but the stone hearts we have are blocking his voice. We need to ask God to make these hearts soft and gentle so that we can hear him, and let him tell us what his plan for us is. Because if we don't let god into our hearts we will never know our true destiny, we will never know our fate. God is/ should always be in your heart telling you your fate and life has it unfolds.

Everything happens for a reason, we might not see it right away, but everything happens for a reason.  God will speak it into our hearts and when we are ready to know why that happened he will open our hearts and lets us know.

If today you hear gods voice harden not your hearts.- Psalm (don't remember where)

I will give you a new heart  and a new mind. I will take away your stubborn heart, of stone, and give you an obedient heart. - Ezekiel 36:26

If today you hear Gods voice don't harden your heart, don't close your heart keep it open let God speak with you, in you, and for you. If you allow God to speak to you, he can change your whole world, body and life. :)

God will take out that heart that hardens and put a new one in that will not harden as easily, and give us a new mind and bless us deeply in body and soul. Amen.
