Living in the moment

Do you ever find your self worried about things to come, getting nervous over the future and not living in the moment?

Today I start school and like most kids frightened and sad that my summer life has come to an end, and back to my daily routine....Everything that is new, you never know what will happen and what will come your way.....

Getting caught up in thinking of the future is very bad, then you can't live in the moment completely, You can't live every moment to the fullest... You can't enjoy the moment with your family and friends....

My Favourite person in The New Testament...  Peter. Ahhh how i love the  doubter to the  denier to the  head of the church. I find great inspiration from Peter, he had the love to follow Christ, and to know it was him by a catch of fish after a long night of nothing...

Peter lived in the moment, he always listened to the lord, he always loved the lord even though he betrayed him. He was always faithful and from the sinful man he proclaimed he was, turned into the great king on earth...

Jesus the king, told us while still on earth that indeed not to worry about the future, he has givin' us enough to handle in one day. So i tell you not to worry about the future or past because God is with You.

We find our selves upset of the future, upset of the past, but we have to live in the moment. God wants us to live in the moment, to live like him. We need to love and live, to hope and  have faith, to live and to believe that God is lord and he will help us through ruff times...

When tough things come my way, or that may come your way, don't look as if you can't get over it, because God wouldn't put you through anything you can't handle,  it might be really hard but he wouldn't send us through times we can't handle... You might think, when someone dies by some tragic way, or some rough way, you will think that you couldn't go through that and wouldn't be able to get through it alone... the you realize that  it never happened, because God knows you couldn't handle it....

May God help us through whatever it might be that may be bothering us or making us sad and bring us back to normal, and be like Peter and live in the moment in his love and peace and grow with him forever and ever Amen!

  1. Jesus said not to worry about tomorrow, because today has enough worries of it's own. He promises to give us our daily bread - just what we need for today. But living with regrets over the past and worries for the future we miss what Jesus has for us this day. Many blessings!
