April 4: D

D is for Daily

I'm not the one that usually makes a To-do list. I Just try to remember everything I have to do that day. I usually find that i never put it in the right order and then o'm either late for something or i'm done it by the time it was requested to be. Everyday I will just do as things come; and take them as they are. But I have to say that this is not easy. Especially when I hear bad news or bad things being said. Then it just makes the day, that much longer, and sadder. But then I look for those days when I have nothing to do. Like Patrick Star ========================================>

Now I want draw attention to Jesus' daily life. This Past weekend(palm Sunday)  well for at least at my church the passion was read. And this year it's from Mark. And there was one line in there a struck out to me. Words upon which Jesus said.  This one line is " Have you come out with swords and clubs to arrest  me as though I were a bandit? Day After Day I was with you in the temple teaching and you did not arrest me. But let the scriptures be fulfilled. "

Now Jesus tells us what he did. *MR. obvious however* When I heard this line I thought of, the reading, where they kept listening to him, and wanting to stone him and to capture him. But they could not. Because the scriptures had to come true. For To prove that he was the Son of Man he made the scriptures come true.

Jesus is the biggest  teacher by teaching us the ways of God. And by sacrificing him self for us. But i mean this is his DAILY life.

April 3: C

C is for Cross

Lets start Tuesday off with Friday. The saving Cross. Not any Cross, but the cross Jesus hung from. How often do we think of others and there real sacrifice for us so that we may enjoy our life? How often do we not know the sacrifices made for us to do things. Think of all the sacrifices made for you and revolving you.

What do we see when we look upon a cross?  To pieces of Wood forced together to make that shape. Or do we see the sacrifice? The ultimate one.

Look upon a cross right now; what do you see? Do you see I.N.R.I? Iesus Nazarenus rex Iudaeorum.  The sign. The true sign! The sign which the scribes and pharisees wanted to change. So that it would be false.  Which would have said: Hic dicit Filius Dei erat ( which translates into: This man claims he is the Son of God.)

Look also now at his face. His troubled face. The face of him dead and worried. ( i would be worried to if i was crucified) But think of  his troubles for you. Wiped, thrones put on his head, spat on, stripped of the few clothes he had and then crucified. Always, however keeping us in mind. For if we can carry, just a sliver of his cross, and not be sad, or guilty or embarrassed for what we did, Jesus would have such an easier time. But although looking at our faults, we must also see that Jesus does not want us to worry about things. SO he will not let us carry his cross. WE have our own crosses to pick up.

Now look at his Arms, his tired arms. But his way of showing us how much he loves us. The expression of that he would go to the point of death for us. Because he held his arms between heaven and hell For us to believe so that we may be saved. Think of those arms just hanging there, showing His love to us.

If You want to come with me,
you must forget yourself, take up your cross everyday,
 and follow me

April 2: B

B is for Blind

I'm going to go back in time a little bit. Lets go back to the prep of this week. The second Scrutiny to be exact. Lets go back and see a little more into this story. No not because I like the story, but to see the fundamental purpose of the story, and to see what God wants us to learn.

3 “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. 4 As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. 5 While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

So In this passage above, we have 2 Keys elements that A) form the rest of the story and B) Know who Jesus is. Lets un-detect these 2 great elements.  So firstly we can clearly see that Jesus is telling them the exact reason why this man was indeed born blind. It was nobodies fault. It was so that we might believe. So that God may be shown through Jesus. To show that him and the Father are one. Then Jesus goes on to telling us the second element of this story. While it is day, we can only do work. And during the day we must do the work of God. But then Jesus continues saying "I am the light of the world". So he is clearly telling us that while he is in the world, we must always; never stop. the work of God.  For he tells us that he is God the savior of the world, of whom we must always do work for, for he is the Son of God.

35 Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and when he found him, he said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”36 “Who is he, sir?” the man asked. “Tell me so that I may believe in him.” 37 Jesus said, “You have now seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking with you.”38 Then the man said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him.39 Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.”40 Some Pharisees who were with him heard him say this and asked, “What? Are we blind too?”41 Jesus said, “If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains.

And Know we see Jesus Asking the man if indeed he believes the Jesus is the Son of Man. Notice of Jesus says " He is the one talking to you" He never says his name, he never says, "I" any time he talks to someone and they want to know who the Son of Man is. He never drew attention to himself. Okay only that one time when he, got made in the temple, and threw all the shops, and trades out. But Jesus never drew attention to him self, he never said the words "I" or "Me". For if he said that many would not believe. But just look at out lives today, how easily we say "I" and "Me"

Next Jesus Talks about the world and how we will be judged. "The Blind will see and the see will be blind". For this does not mean we will all become blind because we see. I like to look at this as "those who believe ,will see God and those who don't believe will not see God"   For If we truley believe and not turn into Crucify HIM And stay HOSANNA! Our eyes will be opened to see the LORD

April 1: A

Accomplishment

It's been 3 Years or so and now we see this man; this figure coming into the Holy City of Jerusalem. People at each side waving Palms and Singing "Hosanna" Worshiping this man. But Soon we will see the quick; ever so quick change in there attitude. Yes we will. From Singing "Hosanna" to "Crucify him". This Day We come Not saying Crucify him But "Hail him who comes in the name of the Lord". For, this is no April Fools day Joke this is Real that one accomplishment of Him his coming into Jerusalem to meet his fate. TO Die for us; Our sins; our life.

After seeing this one poster and it's sayings; the words on it have always been with me. It read " In 50 years God won't care what shoes you wore; what jeans you wore; what you looked liked; what your job was;what your relationships were. God will care about How you spent your life." It's How we spent our life. I really just focus on this. It's what accomplishments  we did. And what we wanted to do in our life.

We all have our own accomplishments and otherwise lives. We are all different in every way. We are never a like in no way. But there is one Way however that connects us all in one way, How God will judge us. He Won't care about our earthly things like our, clothes, jobs, relationships, how much money we made, He will judge us on our accomplishments.

Matthew 28-31

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

So it's obvious that we shouldn't live our lives based on the things of here but the ways of God. God only wants us to do good in life. To prove to him that we are worthy for his kingdom. For is that not why he sent us to earth? Well

Do not cheat when you use weights and measures. Use true and honest weights and measures, so that you may live a long time in the land that the Lord your God is giving you. The Lord hates people who cheat. Deuteronomy 25:14-16

But then the Lord also tells us not to cheat for our accomplishments. Not to cheat so we can boast. But to do things truthfully. Well for one you never feel good after you cheat, the guilt and unhappiness within is just bad; God does not want us to feel like that.  For One day we shall see the kingdom and live there but to live there longer and longer we shall not cheat but be honest and not boast on our Accomplishments.

Yes of course it is nice for others to see and recognize our accomplishments, but not to the measures that we make others feel bad, and we our selves are trying to track attention to our accomplishments. Despite the fact that all of us

5 minute Friday: The Love of a Gift.

Go!

When do we receive a gift? A Birthday, Christmas, Just because, Thank you, and Mass. We receive the gift of the Lord. We Get the Lord all for our selves. Next week will be well very painful for the lord and yet as his "present" to us, he died. See how much Love is just in that statement. 'And yet as his present to us he died.

Think of Christmas, or your birthday the perfectly wrapped present you get holding the perfect mystery. Holding something of soon what will be yours. The perfectly wrapped gift finished with a bow, ready for you. And yet we don't want to take the time to carefully undo the wrapping; We tear right through it.

Think of a time when you received a gift. No, Not the one wrapped up under the Christmas tree or one you got for your birthday. Think of a gift that can't be wrapped, that you got, thats means more than anything in the world.

Can you think of anything?

Well the first thing that comes to mind for me is Love. Love from my family. The best gift ever, Love from the family. For they are the ones that care for me, that form us, into the ones we are today. The Gift of knowledge from others. What others say, and we learn, that is a daily gift. Like the expression "You learn something new everyday" And yet this is sooo true whether or not you realize it.

A So the ultimate gift come to us soon. For he did not die for nothing; HE DIED FOR US! FOR GOD LOVED THE WORLD SO MUCH HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON!

STOP!

Linking up and doing the 5 Minute challenge. I think i went i min or two over, but o well. Thanks and hoped you enjoyed!

Station 1 : Jesus is condemned to Die

So we start off with our first station. The Station that unfolds the rest of his death. This mystery is yet to be unfolded. The mystery of how he was condemned shaped our faith. If we so much long for his face we must walk step by step the path that he took, filled with people shouting CRUCIFY HIM. For this Road surely was not straight, but dis-shaped by evilness and hatred, for we refuse to believe.

Jesus came and  lived. This is him on the earth who we follow. And yet he is gone, his word is forever. For our king was told from us to be crucified. And so he was; taken dishearted and left for us to mourn for our own unfaithfulness.

Now Pontius Pilate questions him asking, "Are you a King?" And Jesus answers, "My kingdom is not an earthly one, thou sayest that I am a king. To this end I was born and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the Truth. Everyone that is of the truth hearest my voice."
At this point Pilate said to the people, "I can find no fault in him at all."
Pilate then gave the mob a choice of who should go free. Jesus Christ or Jesus Barabas, a man in prison for riot and murder. But, inflamed by the high priest Kaphus and other members of the Sanhedron, the masses demand the death of the Nazarene.
The woman in the foreground showing alarm and despair is Pilate's wife, Claudia Propula, who because of a dream, warned him not to convict Jesus. She later left Pilate and became a Christian.
But now there is no turning back. The mob is shouting for the death of Jesus. The vicious blood-lust is visible on their faces as they scream, "Crucify him!, crucify him!"

But Jesus look at us, saw deep in our hearts the love, the faith, the truth in the deepest chambers of our heart and had mercy and accepted his fate and went on to being crucified which he could have clearly avoided but didn't; for us. For He was going to go through so much just for us and then we shall see this while he is on the cross that indeed he is the lord our God.

THANK YOU GOD FOR ACCEPTING MY UNBELIEF AND YET YOU WENT TO BE CRUCIFIED BECAUSE YOU SAW IN US FAITH AND HOPE! BLESS US AND FORGIVE US FATHER FOR OUR SIN AND DIS BELIEF. PLEASE LORD HELP US TO DO YOU WILL AND TO COME AND FOLLOW YOU FULLY!

In Pilate's hands I see my fathers will. Though Pilate is unjust, he is the lawful governor and has the power over me. And so the Son of God obeys the Son of Man. If I bow to Pilates rule because this is my fathers will, can you refuse obedience to those I place over you?

Five Minute Friday: Loud

Go!

So I hear the word Loud and well the first thing that comes screaming in my head are two things: 1) Jesus and 2) Children.

Well the children Just there screaming in having fun or Screaming for being hurt. For theres the Good Scream of a child and a bad one. I have a hard time trying to understand why Jesus came into Mind? (not saying thats it's strange but i hear the word Loud and he came to mind)That was the first thing I though of. The First reason that came to mind was because She is Loud in Calling people to him, and the more people reject him the more Louder he Gets. But I'm Not really sure if this seems right or not.

SO now this required thinking. And So Thinking about it before i started to type was that on the Cross Jesus gave out a Loud Cry before he died. "My God,My God why have you abandoned me?" And this indeed still didn't fit it together. Again back to the thinking.... John the baptist also Shouted in a loud voice to make our roads straight for the Lord. So that he can come perfectly into our hearts. Then I also come back to that We must proclaim the Gospel with Courage and proclaim it LOUD. So as we enter into this most solemn times of Holy Week Soon May we reflect on out lives. But Let us not Shout " My God why Have you abandoned me" But " My God My God Help me"

Stop!

Well thats it. My blog Post for 5 Minute Friday. This week was a challenge for me "Loud" I had to take a good half an hour to think before hand to right this 5 Minute post.

Thunder Shower= Winter= Light???

Picture taken for Google Images.
No, that's not the 2 first words that come to mind that go together. But record breaker (in my life time) On March 19 the snow was far gone and the rain began to fall. Not only rain but the lightning lit up the sky like a candle flickering in the darkness. Then The thunder booming away like some drums making the sweetest sound.

The Candle flickering in the darkness. In Region we were told to do an interview from anyone within the story of when the man gets put in through the roof of the house because of all the people around the door. And So I brought in has much as I could from other stories into this one. I mentioned about the candle under a basket, I also mentioned of when he taught his disciples many times.

But most of my questions to Jesus were about.... Yes the Pharisees. Well Because they played a part is this story and well the rest of Jesus' Life. But i made Jesus Answers not what i think. I would have to get quiet and pray.  That's how I wrote the answers. I don't take assignments in religion class like any other assignments. I  let God speak through me and answer it for me. SO Jesus' answers were about how he did not hate anyone and that he did not come to judge the world but to turn them back to God. The Real God.

God is there all the time and there God will bless us and keep us safe. He wants to see out candle burning and bright, not hidden under some lamp, but showing it's beauty and warmth.

Luke 11:33

"No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead he puts it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light."
