E is For Everlasting
I will try to keep this post Short and sweet. But as we all know TODAY IS THE DAY! The Day we celebrate Jesus going, eating blessing the bread and wine, getting betrayed And was handed over to the hands of sinners. But I for surely won't to talk about the Last Supper.
Why do I Want to talk about it? Well no, not because it's the day. But the Everlasting Memories made from this supper that we Catholics still follow today.
Lets think of this. What do we do every Sunday? Yes we listen to the homily. But we break bread. And this indeed is brought from this very day. The Day we acknowledge Jesus Breaking the bread for our lives. And as we repeat at mass " Do this in memory of me" For we do. By Re-acting it every Sunday, and we are remind that the bread is Jesus. The Life we have, is filled with Bread. So was the life of Jesus. And So this is why he Used Bread a lot.
But The Symbol of Breaking the bread Is so magnificent. We see God Coming and sharing him self. Giving us him. For This day we are brought to SEE Jesus. For this day is Everlasting. So is the word of God. God 's word Was around before any human or sign of life was. And as far as Eating his bread and drinking his Blood at church that is everlasting with in us. When WE eat this bread a drink this cup we proclaim your death o lord until you come again.
“Then he took the bread, said the blessing, broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body, which will be given for you; do this in memory of me.”Luke 22:19
Love the post today! We have our vigil tonight after Mass. Holy Week is wonderful!

Christ died but was resurrected which is the most important thing. We will be resurrected to join Him for eternity and that is an exciting thought.
